Studio Drift will present “Flylight”, an interactive light installation, at Ventura Lambrate during Design Week Milan.
The installation is composed of 160 glass tubes and based on group behavior of animals. The lights interact with the viewers through sensors that translate changes in the installation’s environment to computer stimulations that drive the electronics of the lights making them react to the stimulus as if they were a flock of starling or a school of fish.
The installation will be presented at the ‘FOO – flight of Objects’ Dutch designers’ group exhibition at Ventura Lambrate, Milan, 12-17 April.
