the adff short films walk (sfw) on 11 october connects 10 soho design showrooms and the architecture & design film festival for one fabulous night! adff will curate a selection of short films about architecture and design to be screened at each showroom. each of the participating showrooms on the “walk” will show a 15-minute loop of short films that will be screened throughout the evening from 5pm to 9pm.
adff will also give 300 sfw participants a complimentary ticket to this year’s architecture & design film festival, which takes places november 1 – 5 at the cinepolis chelsea cinema on 260 west 23rd street. the tickets will be awarded to people who have visited the most showrooms.

the ‘lace’ collection provides a contemporary twist on traditional antique carpets. featuring a delicate pattern inspired by intricate couture lacework, it is made using a mixture of select viscose and viscose yarns together with cutting-edge production techniques. ‘lace’ collection rugs are available in subdued colors that play on the metallic qualities of gray lace, as well as bolder colors featuring variations of textured red, yellow, and blue.
symbolizing the rebirth of nature, the ‘blossom’ collection is inspired by emerging soft petals like the buds of may. each of the color ways paints a picture. for example, blossom’s titanium grey & dark gold suggests a golden dawn breaking through the dark of night. an embossing technique is applied during the tufting process that creates a thick and tactile pile that highlights the beauty of the pattern as well as the quality of the materials.
