The black graphic ‘sculpture’ is really the escalators by Herzog de Meuron. Observed, the serendipitous expression of the 2013 graphics theme. It should also be mentioned, the following images shot in Design Miami/ Basel’s new Herzog & de Meuron designed home | video below.
Portal to the creative collaboration of Carpenters Workshop Gallery and Steinitz. Polished bronze LED’S are CL-SINUOSITY-2 by Frederik-Molenschot, 2013.
Arguably the hottest venue for photo mug shots is right here. All subjects tend to stand in front of CHARTRES by Studio Job, 2009>2012, a polished and patinated bronze and 24K gold leaf armoire. The BLACK CAT, also by Studio Job. FRAGILE FUTURE CHANDELIER 3.6 by Gordijn-And-Nauta.
All eyes on MANDALA STUDY #2, 2012 by willowlamp for Southern Guild.
Galerie Kreo lighting it up. Reminded to ask Didier how many are LEDs.

Design Miami/ director, Marianne Goebl. Amidst LIT LINES PENDANT LIGHT 4, 2011, by Michael Anastassiades for Nilufar Gallery
above/below> This year Judith Seng, who’s based in Berlin, brought together the worlds of material production and modern dance – combining the spectacle of a Runway Show with the 8-hour realities of a Factory.
below> Messe Basel – New Hall was completed February 2013. Its realization is a key development in the Messe Basel’s aim to concentrate its exhibition halls around the Messeplatz (Exhibition Square). The surrounding Kleinbasel district will also benefit from the continuing upgrade of the Messeplatz and, at the same time, will regain former exhibition areas to convert into apartments and offices. Replacing two out-of-date halls, the new three-storey extension offers modern, flexible and versatile exhibition spaces with wide uninterrupted spans and tall 10m heights.
