lighthenge. milan design week 2018.
lighthenge is an installation of light and sound that makes urban energy scenic and shared. by night, the lighthenge platform becomes a welcoming satellite, which projects its rays of light into the sky.
the lighthenge project is composed of a couple of elements: a solid base and an immaterial light projection, to which a background sound is added during the day. from the base rises a small and dense forest of cones in polystyrene foam.
the immaterial component of the installation instead takes shape through an unexpected luminous radiation emitted every evening starting from the sunset from the upper end of each cone.
