I came across an olivetti typewriter for sale on ( surprising to me ) urban outfitters.
The typewriter and company brought back memories of ad campaigns running from the 50s – 70s. It’s where I discovered Italian design, Milton Glazer, Walter Balmer.

Nuance is a new concept of the padded seat, in two sizes: one for use around a table and a “lounger” that’s lower and larger with an ottoman combination. Nuance combines a strong visual and ergonomic concept of “hand made” which gives added value to the object while the focus is on reducing waste.
A gaggle of design events!
Alongside the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition this year will be Euroluce, the eagerly-awaited International Lighting Exhibition to name a few. An unmissable appointment from 22 to 27 April 2009.
The young design-world star is in Milan exploring this year’s Salone del Mobile and working with Fendi on “Craft Punk,” a collaboration that brings together 11 designers working in different media for a performance-based event.
