carnegie fabrics highlights three product categories at neocon 2019.
this year visitors will experience creative vignettes in three boldly colored rooms and can delve deeper with displays exhibiting the process and intention put into every carnegie fabrics product. included are high-performance knits, coated fabrics and acoustic panels.
xorel knit: a breakthrough material that leverages the high-performance characteristics of xorel with the application versatility of a knitted textile. this new construction is the first time carnegie has offered a xorel material engineered specifically to upholster, with the stretch and recover requirements that many modern furniture pieces demand.
expanded upholstery: carnegie is embarking on upholstery expansion initiatives, starting with the release of three new high-performance coated fabrics. as weavers and makers of primarily woven textiles, carnegie’s designers saw a tremendous opportunity to create a fabric that designers would prefer to specify, which is typically woven, but that would also meet the strenuous demands of use.
xorel artform baffles: high-performance, acoustic panels that enable distinctive design statements to be made from above. instead of being limited to a monolithic material or simply a graphic color story, xorel artform baffles are fully upholstered and offer the freedom to design unique compositions, with hundreds of color, texture, and pattern options.
