Milan 2010: There is one question that everyone should sensibly ask before designing or making something to show at the Milan Furniture Fair. Does the world need another chair?

That’s the start of a New York Times preview article of the Milan Furniture Fair by Alice Rawsthorn in the New York Times. I had a similar feeling after the Chicago Housewares Show not too long ago. Does the world need another hydration ( water ) bottle? Or another potty upon leaving the Kitchen and Bath Show.
