re-importation is an exhibition by seven young japanese designers (kodai iwamoto, takahiro yamamoto,naoto suzuki,nakaya maki, shotaro oshima, say takeuchi and sai honda) freshly graduated from four different art schools in three different countries, namely great britain, the netherlands and switzerland.

their studies outside japan have offered new discoveries and novel ways of thinking, significantly inspiring their design vision.

the exhibition, their first after returning home, is an expression of their newly acquired visions in various forms including industrial products, architectural projects and jewelries. it offers the opportunity to become acquainted with innovative production methods and the ever diversifying world of contemporary design.
