idlny leaders, with coalition partners iida ny and asid ny upstate/ canada east, will gather upstate in albany to lead a half day of programming for new york state designers.

the event was organized to equip new york state interior designers with knowledge about the legislation that currently regulates their rights to practice (for example, the “sign & seal” law prohibits interior designers from submitting plans or specifications to obtain a building permit for a project), as well as future bills that could impact them. idlny president dan villella will provide insight on these legislative issues and a ceu accredited seminar about advocacy will close out the evening. attendees will leave the session armed with the tools they need to work for change. this is a free event, but please register online with the link provided.
