this year paola navone decided to complete the family of ajour furniture for gervasoni. the new design chair next will be featured at milan furniture fair isaloni 2019, it suits perfectly with the carve07 collection presented by gervasoni last year in milan, at the isaloni 2018 fair.

the mirror polished surface of the chair reflects the light and colors around, so the chair, like a chameleon, always takes different images.
now the capital of lombardy become the main design area of europe – until the april 14th milan will host the international exhibition milan design week’19! hundreds of exhibitors and brands will demonstrate their creativity and show modern furniture, decor and lighting for guests. the main thing is that this year is special for ukraine – 7 ukrainian designers will present the modern_ism project on a joint stand at the superstudio piu expo site. the general project’s organizers are prostir86 design platform and the foundation art-east + art-west with the ukrainian institute support.

following a successful first edition, ventura future returns to the milan design week at a brand-new central location for its 2019 edition in the Tortona district at base. from 9 – 14 april visitors of ventura future can explore the best of contemporary design from a mix of international academies, designers, brands and labels.
ventura future has chosen a close collaboration with the cultural project base which is located in the ex-ansaldo – a former industrial area in milan. base milano is a cultural project aimed at promoting innovation, life-long learning and cross-pollination in the creative industries and will be our host during ventura future. ventura future will occupy 3500 square metres divided over two floors. and it will be full of revolutionary, innovative and ground-breaking design, focused on future visions. read more about the partnership https://organisationindesign.activehosted.com/index.php?action=social&c=24&m=40
at ventura future 2019 we will embrace several interesting themes such as food, craftsmanship, technology and some academies
another topic that will be thoroughly explored during this edition of ventura future is bio-design. with the support of the embassy and the consulate-general of the kingdom of the netherlands in milan and curated by organization in design, the project future (h)eart(h): 8 dutch design visions for a livable earthwill be on show.
new wireline lamp for flos will be presented in milano in two different locations.
first as a preview in the collectors’ lounge of miart (5- 7 april), then at the salone del mobile (9-14 april) in the pavilion 24 at new design holding booth .
further elaborating on some of the design principles of the previous lamp wirering, formafantasma is again using the power cable as one of the main design features. flattened to resemble a belt made of rubber and hanging from the ceiling, the cable holds a ribbed glass extrusion containing a led light source.
the lamp, that can be installed as a single piece, or repeated to obtain elaborate visual compositions, is in fact reduced in size once packed.

with its participation at s.project 2019, effegibi officially begins a new chapter in its history, emerging with a new look after nearly 30 years, during which it has given us products that have revolutionized the sector with their innovative technology and design excellence. this new chapter in the company’s history, which has seen it expand onto the international market, is embodied by effe, a new brand which merges tradition and new visions of the future in a clear and recognizable style, in line with the desire for global customized perfect wellness systems.
the effe stand at the salone del mobile 2019 has been completely custom made in the shapes and sizes typical of a spa in a hotel health centre or a superior fitness centre. the contemporary, sophisticated and essential exhibition space contains the new yoku sauna, a large turkish bath, an area dedicated to water with two waterdream mini pools and other elements inspired by ancient bodycare rituals.
yoku is a modular sauna with essential designyoku though welcoming , warm and natural. the volume of the stove is integrated in the lower bench offering an image of great formal linearity. the new version combines the large front glass with the wood door and handle is presented in three different essences: natural aspen, heat-treated aspen and natural black.
