to celebrate its 40 years (1977-2017), tectona has invited eleven young international design talents to join a design competition. the eleven projects have been presented during the paris design week and the winner will be revealed in january 2017 and edited in tectona collection.

the brand has launched in january a competition that involves eleven young international talents, with the mission to imagine a chair and a table, in the respect of tectona dna, totally or partially in teak, made in the best rules of craftsmanship.

the selected designers are : moisés hernandez (mexico), studio deform (czech republic), dach & zephir (france), carlo clopath (switzerland), benwu studio (china), terkel skou steffensen (denmark), thinkk studio (thailand), visibility (usa), yun li (taiwan), zanellato/bortotto (italy) and wataru kumano (japan).
