few designers strive, succeed to be relevant for decades in the competitive, cut-throat commercial markets of design. even fewer elevate their craft to be accepted in permanent collections of important design museums – and then there is marcel wanders who managed to piss of his teachers and design critics yet wowed design store impresarios, developers and more recently museum curators.
after showing at the prestigious stedeljijk museum, amsterdam in 2014, his work is now at the centre pompidou, in paris.
