In addition to Frieze there are several other big events going on. One is brand new, the Collective Design Fair. , a unique gallery we always say hello to at DesignMiami, is showing.

[ Southern Guild ] the leading platform for contemporary South African design, will make its New York debut at Collective.1 Design Fair, taking place 8 > 11 May 2013 at Pier 57, in the New York City. Founded in 2008 as a showcase for exceptional South African design, Southern Guild will present work by 17 leading South African designers and artists including Gregor Jenkin, , , , , , Dokter and Misses and Hylton Nel.

[ collective design fair ] a new design event in New York City, will host 24 international galleries presenting a cohesive selection of vintage and contemporary design for its inaugural edition, Collective .1.
