At the moment the Tesla Model S is still a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a white cloth. Tesla has revealed the EV will list for $57,400, which after the $7,500 federal tax credit puts the final price at just under $50,000. An Israeli design student, was shocked to see how kids with disabilities were deprived of the simple pleasure of pedaling around on a tricycle. So he created an ingenious new version that’s far easier to ride for kids with motor-function disabilities. Rather than the two wheels in back, he moved these to the front, making the trike easier to get on.

Robotic systems continue to evolve, slowly penetrating many areas of our lives, from manufacturing, medicine and remote exploration to entertainment, security and personal assistance. Developers in Japan are currently building robots to assist the elderly, while NASA develops the next generation of space explorers, and artists are exploring new avenues of entertainment. I really can’t wait for my robotic personal assistant.

In 1919 Walter Gropius established the „Staatliche Bauhaus” in Weimar, a classical city in Thuringia, and started a new model of design. It was one of the most important and most influential design schools. In 1925 the Bauhaus school moved to Dessau and was closed down in 1933 by the National socialists. It reopened in 1986 as a center of design.
