Stitching Concrete is a project by German industrial designer who uses innovative concrete canvas to create a set of durable furniture ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The canvas fabric is pervaded with concrete then cut and sewn and left on the wood stand to dry. The material is water, fire and chemicals-resistant. The playful stitching and grey fabric play off each other. Great concept. [ florian-schmid ]
