New bus for london.

british designer thomas heatherwick has co-designed the replacement for london’s iconic routemaster bus, mayor Boris Johnson announced yesterday morning.




the new buses are expected to go into service by 2012. see a video about the design of the bus here.






heatherwick designed the two-story bus in collaboration with bus manufacturer the wright group.
