The First Chicago International Poster Biennial.

Poster power. It’s real. And there doesn’t seem to be enough of them when you see really good ones. Really good ones are on display for a month in Chicago’s Daly Bicentenniial Park.
The poster exhibit runs until October 29 in Daley Bicentennial Park. See the 31 winners at Design Observer and Chicago International Poster Biennial official site.
See additonal posters featuring animals.

It is true that 31 poster finalists, including the 5 medalists, from the Chicago Biennial are available for viewing on DesignObserver, but those are only 31 out of a total of 167 finalists that are on display at Daley Bicentennial Plaza. Look for a catalogue of the finalists, 5 medalists, and a lot more near the end of October at chicagobiennial.org.
looks like an innovative and spectacular exhibition PRand…
being a poster addict from way back…(ever since I designed my first at uni)….. I’d have to say my favourite would be the Alfred Halasa…

Very cool posters here. I like Decemberists especially. I’ve saved some posters from way back because they were just neat and haven’t thought about them for years. I’ll need to dig them out to see what I have!
